Our tour-guide will meet and pick you up at your hotel. Today we will enjoy a half day city tour starting with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh, the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. This complex also comprises the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of city. We follow this with a trip to the Temple of Literature, which is well known as the first university of Vietnam. Have lunch in the restaurant. After the lunch, we transfer to Bat Trang village for 30 minutes. Bat Trang is known as the “ceramic village”. You can see the artisans mass-produce ceramic vases and other pieces in their kilns. It’s hot sweaty work, but the results are superb and very reasonably priced. You will know more about the people’s life and the culture through the production at village and village history.
