DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
Day 1 Ha Noi – Halong Bay
This
morning you are collected at around 8.30am for the 4 hour drive to
Halong Bay. En route there will be a short stop at the Sao Do centre run
for and by handicapped children. On arrival we board our Anh Duong
Deluxe Junk, this traditional wooden sailing junk boat offers a unique
way of navigating the limestone karsts of Halong Bay with all the
comforts of a floating hotel. Once settled in, you start your cruise
round the majestic Halong Bay while enjoying a delicious lunch. After
lunch you have the chance to explore some of the limestone caves dotted
around the bay. Then, the captain will find a secluded spot where you
can swim in the clear water of the bay, soak up the sun on the top deck.
In the evening the cook prepares a sumptuous meal as the boat weighs
anchor in the heart of the bay.
Day 2 Halong Bay kayaking, beach BBQ
After
breakfast we start paddling to Van Chai floating village and then
continue paddling to Dark Cave. Tide permitting, we explore this amazing
cave by kayak. The cave is a dark tunnel thrusting through a limestone
mountain. The tunnel is the only entry to a secluded and beautiful
lagoon. We can also explore some other caves nearby. We enjoy seafood
BBQ lucnch on the beach and keep paddling to Ba Trai Dao Lagoon, along a
stunning and fairly rough sea channel, to explore its beautiful beaches.
Continue our cruise to Lan Ha Bay, which is smaller than Halong Bay but
much more interesting with lots of secluded beaches. Cruise back to
Halong Bay for dinner and overnight on boat
Day 3 Ha Long Bay exploration
Start
a new day with breakfast on boat, we cruise to the bay’s most untouched
areas to visit Tortoise island , Man's head island, Dong Tien Lake, Van
Gia floating village where fishermen are not only fishing but raising
crabs and shrimps as well, if the tides are low, we have a chance to
visit Three Peach Island and Ba Ham Lakes, a deep grotto with three
inland "lakes”. The grotto is accessible only at low tide. There are
beautiful beaches around, where we can stop for swimming,. Lunch is
served on board by your chef, your cruise continues as you move around
the bay finding more secluded lagoons for swimming or just relaxing.
Late in the afternoon we return to Titov island area for the night
Day 4 Ha Long Bay – Ha Noi
Breakfast on the junk and enjoy the sundeck of the junk while we
navigates amazing rock formations of Bai Tu Long Bay to get back to
Halong City. Enjoy our last lunch on the junk before heading back to
shore where our bus awaits. We may be able to visit the Dong Trieu
ceramic village as we make our way back to the capital
