trip captures the best of Vietnam from north to south. Your trip starts
in the dynamic and vibrant city of Saigon, down to Hanoi, one of Asia's
most captivating cities. Relax on a cruise of scenic Halong Bay, dotted
with thousands of limestone islands and hidden grottos. We also visit
the Mekong Delta, with its meandering waterways and flourishing daily
life, see the famous Cu Chi Tunnels where you even have the opportunity
to venture underground..

Day
1 Sai Gon (Ho Chi Minh City) arrival
Upon
arrival at Ho Chi Minh city’s Tan Son Nhat Airport, our guide and driver
will welcome you and transfer you to hotel in Sai Gon.
Our hotel is located close to Ben Thanh Market and the city's main
shopping district, so there is much for you to discover on your own and
you will have plenty of interesting and fun ideas.

Day
2 Sai Gon city tour, Cu Chi tunnels
On
day 2 we take a morning city tour of Ho Chi Minh city, you are going to
visit the Reunification Palace, War museum, Municipal Theatre, Notre
Dame Cathedral, The General Post Office.
After lunch we board our car and heading to the tunnels of Cu Chi, this
former Viet Cong stronghold provides an insight into the resourcefulness
and tenacity of the Vietnamese people.
We return to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon

Day
3 Fly to Hanoi
A
short flight brings us to the historical capital city of Hanoi, you are
welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. The rest
of your day is at leisure for independent exploration – just catch a
sight of Hoan Kiem lake or explore the maze of streets in the city's
fascinating Old Quarter where you are certain to find something unique
to buy.

4 Ha Long Bay Cruise, Junk overnight (Join group)
This
morning you are collected at around 8.30am for the 4 hour drive to
Halong Bay. En route there will be a short stop at the Sao Do centre run
for and by handicapped children. On arrival we board our deluxe junk,
this traditional wooden sailing junk boat offers a unique way of
navigating the limestone karsts of Halong Bay with all the comforts of a
floating hotel. Once settled in, you start your cruise round the
majestic Halong Bay while enjoying a delicious lunch. After lunch you
have the chance to explore some of the limestone caves dotted around the
bay. The captain will find a secluded spot where you can swim in the
clear water and soak up the sun on the top deck. In the evening the cook
prepares a sumptuous meal as the boat weighs anchor in the heart of the
bay.

5 Return to Hanoi, Water Puppetry performance
On
the morning of day 3 we keep cruising for more exploration of the bay
before heading back to shore around 12.00. We may be able to visit the
Dong Trieu ceramic village as we make our way back to the capital. Once
back in Hanoi, there's a chance for more exploration. Why not head back
to the Old Quarter, stroll the city's tree-lined boulevards or enjoy the
tranquility of the lakes over a traditional Vietnamese coffee?
In the evening we attend a traditional Water puppetry show

6 Ha Noi city tour, Fly to Sai Gon
On
the morning of day 2 we take a city tour to Ho Chi Minh complex, his
house on stilts and the museum and One Pillar Pagoda. We also make a
visit to the Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam,
which is now dedicated to Confucian worship and “Hanoi Hilton” –a nick
name given by US pilots during the war.
In the late afternoon you are transfered to the Hanoi airport for
another flight back to Ho Chi Minh city. You are met on arrival at the
airport and transfered to your hotel

7 Mekong Delta exploration – Departure
On
day 7 we travel south to My Tho (approx. 3 hours), we get off the car
and board our waiting boat to cross the upper Mekong River and explore
its intricate waterways. This is our introduction to a world where life
depends on the river. We visit some handicraft villages and fruit
orchard where we sample tropical fruits, especially, you will have a
chance to be on horse-drawn carriage or local transport “Xe loi”
(nowadays, it is often seen on movies).
We will stop at the home of a Bonsai gardener for a sumptuous Delta
lunch, including the popular dish of 'Elephant ear fish', before
continuing our exploration of the tributaries and canals of the delta.
Towards the end of the day we drive back to Sai Gon.
After dinner you are transferred to the airport for the flight home.
